From scripting to the final cut, students will explore every stage of the filmmaking process while learning to integrate their Christian worldview into their creative work.
Learn storytelling fundamentals, effective six-stage structures, develop scripts with AI tools, and master genre-specific writing, including adaptations of source materials.

ARIEL FERNALD - INSTRUCTOR: This track is designed for international aspiring filmmakers who want to master the art and craft of cinematic storytelling. From scripting to the final cut, students will explore every stage of the filmmaking process while learning to integrate their Christian worldview into their creative work. International students will have the opportunity to receive instructors insight in applying the curriculum in cultural and socioeconomic as well as church culture context

TREY FERNALD - INSTRUCTOR: An exciting program specifically designed to train and equip the actor for film, tv, and live venues including exploring how AI can support the work and generate opportunity for the actor. From character development to script breakdown, the students will journey through every phase of becoming a consistent powerful performer while representing their Christian values well.
Develop the fundamental tools to execute an effective emotional range, authentic
dialogue delivery, and a powerful camera / stage presence.
Construct strong characters through the proven process of creating physical,
economical, regional, psychological, and historical layers that comprise a fascinating human soul.
Transfer a powerful performance onto the lens of a camera by gaining true
understanding of shot size, camera movement, film set etiquette, scene work protocol and opportunities for actors generated by AI.
Learn the best ways to excel in a professional audition through script breakdown, cold reading technique, improvisation, job interview best practices and using AI to enhance your reel.
We will present professional actors as guest lecturers who work regularly, excel at the audition process, and naturally build relationships in the faith-based film arena.
Actors will have the opportunity to audition for 3 Days Studios projects and visit film sets to observe professional scene work.

You will step into the business side of filmmaking with Track 2: Entertainment Business, Law & Leadership. Designed for future producers and industry leaders, this track equips you with the skills to navigate entertainment business, law, and marketing strategies. Build your leadership abilities while fostering diverse, collaborative teams. Cap it off by leading a professional-grade project ready for distribution, working alongside the industry experts at 3 Days Studios. Lead with purpose and impact the world through ethical and faith-driven storytelling.
The Master of Film Art, Business, Law & Leadership Certificate (MFABLL) or Associate of Film Art, Business, Law & Leadership Certificate (AFABLL) requires successful completion of Track 1 OR Track 3 PLUS Track 2 for a balanced approach that combines creativity, business, law, leadership, and real-world impact.
Associate Certificate students are students with a high school diploma.
Master's Certificate students are students who hold a bachelor's degree.
