Tuition Structure
Tuitions fees below are for EACH TRACK.* Students may enroll for one or both tracks. Track 1 - Filmmaking Arts; Track 2 - Film Business & Leadership. See "Curriculum" for track details.
$100 Registration Fee
- Non-Refundable
- Applicable for either track or both tracks
- Applied toward tuition if accepted into SFA
40% Discount
- $6,000 discounted tuition for Track 1 or 2 to the first 30 students registered EARLY by January 30, 2025.
- Requires a $100 non-refundable registration fee applied toward tuition.
TUITION OPTION A (40% Discount) - $6,000 for first 30 students TRACK 1 or 2
$6,000 payment in full, less $100 registration fee if accepted
(Equivalent to $1,500 per class, or $500 per credit hour. Each class is 3 credit hours.)
TUITION OPTION B ($30% Discount) - $7,000 for TRACK 1 or TRACK 2
$7,000 payment in full, less $100 registration fee if accepted
(Equivalent to $1,750 per class, or $583 per credit hour. Each class is 3 credit hours.)
TUITION OPTION C ($20% Discount) - $8,000 for either TRACK 1 or TRACK 2
$8,000 total tuition over 4 quarterly periods per track, payable each quarter.
- $2,000 for 1st quarter tuition, payable upon admission, less $100 registration fee if accepted
- $2,000 for 2nd quarter, payable 2 months after admission
- $2,000 for 3rd quarter, payable 4 months after admission
- $2,000 for 4th quarter, payable 6 months after admission
You will be automatically charged at the start of each quarter.
TUITION OPTION D (Full Price) - $10,000 for either TRACK 1 or TRACK 2
$10,000 total tuition per track, payable monthly.
- $1,250 for the 1st-month tuition, payable upon admission, less $100 registration fee if accepted
- $1,250 for the 2nd month
- $1,250 for the 3rd month
- $1,250 for the 4th month
- $1,250 for the 5th month
- $1,250 for the 6th month
- $1,250 for the 7th month
- $1,250 for the 8th month

What Others Are Charging
Sobering, escalating costs... and why SFA is doing something about it.
Film school tuition can be prohibitively expensive, with some programs costing upwards of $60,000 per year at the American Film Institute, for example (or even much more, up to $90,000 a year if we added the top colleges and universities). This substantial financial burden has led many aspiring filmmakers to question the return on investment. As noted by No Film School, "The fact is, unless they set you up with a job at a studio and an Arri Alexa, there is no way it's worth $90,000 a year—that's over a quarter of a million dollars for an education that may take you nowhere." No Film School. This perspective highlights the importance of carefully evaluating the tangible benefits of such a significant financial commitment. High tuition cost is one of the main reasons for Storytellers Film Academy's existence -- to give Christians a better option at learning and practicing the craft of storytelling via films without financially ruining them. It should be AFFORDABLE for EVERYONE to get a shot at their dream.
